JULIA, founded in 2014 by Julia Buchanan, started off as a swimwear brand, inspired by Cape Town and it's surrounds. Over the years, the brand has developed into a collaborative space that aims to celebrate artists and individuals within the creative ecosystem in our country.

BISOUS by JULIA
This year's resort collection, 'Bisous,' was first showcased at the 2022 Cape Town Resort Collections.
Through the use of bold pinks and reds, romantic, feminine silhouettes and an exclusive lip print, the collection celebrates love and life.
This range aims to inspire its audience to celebrate the important moments in live, no matter how big or small, and to never take love for granted.
COLLABORATIONS
JULIA X BROOKS
This year, JULIA collaborates with Brooks Hard Seltzer, a Cape Town based company which specialises in a healthy alcoholic drink alternative made from pure spring water.
Both brands share a common goal; ensuring maximum sustainability within their companies and doing their utmost to respect our environment.
The collection, which was showcased at the 2022 Cape Town Resort Collections, aims to be an extension of this vision.

Pick 'n Pay Clothing x JULIA
There has been a growing trend in the fashion industry to support local, with customers increasingly seeking clothing made in South Africa. Pick n Pay Clothing has heeded this call by launching collaborations with young local designers.
JULIA was the first brand to take part in these collaborations and is proud to be part of this growing initiative.
CREATIVES' COLLECTION
Creative's Collection is a series of swimsuits exclusively designed for JULIA by a group of handpicked local artists, illustrators and creative individuals.
Each season a new set of artists are selected and together a limited edition range of items is created.
